Bid Sniper Protection - this ensures that no bidder can place at the last second a bid electronically that, because of their fast connection, can be placed in the final closing seconds of an auction - rather, it automatically extends the auction closing time by a predetermined amount and notifies all previous bidders of the higher bid - just like a live auction event. This ensures that all bidders can put forth their best bid and don’t feel cheated out of an item they may have spent many hours researching.

Proxy Bidding: This allows all bidders to place a bid amount they have predetermined as the maximum they would pay for the items. This system bids on their behalf up to the limit that they have set. We will also ensure that all bidders are fully aware of and comfortable with this bidding format to guarantee auction liquidity.

Seller End Auction Accept Hi-bid: This allows a seller to end an auction early and accept the high bidder’s bid. This improves the auction’s dynamics in two ways - one will enable the option that if a potential buyer requires the item for whatever reason, early - A specific job or some other reason- as long as the item has surpassed the seller’s reserve price, the seller can elect to sell the item now, which maintains this bidder as a potential buyer.

Yet the system is fair in that he can only sell the item if the person wanting the item is the high bidder, so other bidders have the opportunity to place their proxy bids, and as long as they are the high bidder, that item cannot be sold with this option but must continue to the auction’s end. This also improves the dynamics of the auction format as all bidders are aware that unless they bid early, an early high bid could result in the item’s sale!!
